Here's all the different types of
goop I've come across. There are more types out there, but this is all I've got
my hands on so far.

The legendary "Bug
Bottles". They came in Vac-U-Maker sets, as well as some early Creepy
Crawlers sets.
The 1965 bottles.
The "Teardrop" bottles
from 1966. The first set of 4 is from Fright Factory, which included Fleshtone
& Nite-glo.
Various other sizes. The Fighting
Men Thingmaker set included the Giant Size 6.5oz Olive bottle.
Goop came on the card singly, and
in 4-Paks.
Less common "Icky Yuk" goop,
found in some, but not all, EEEEKS! sets. The boxes themselves advertised
having Icky Yuk Goop, but later
the sets had a sticker covering that up, and included regular goop.
Goop? Sort of. These plastix
"slugs" were used in the Mattel Injector sets: Hot Wheels Factory and
The Western World.
They were melted in the Injector
machine, and injected into 2 mold pairs, to make cars, horses, cowboys, etc.
When Mattel's goop supplies dried
up, others filled the void. "Rigid Glop" on the left, and
"Liqua-Bug" on the right.

Speth collection.
Two more great bottles:
"Glop" & "Gunk-O". Both from the Burt Buchanan
collection.
Mattel's Thingmaker II goop from
1978. The right 3 are on "Flower Fun" cards.
Mattel's Chill-A-Tron
"gooze" for the 90's.
Toymax's goop for their successful
revival of the Creepy Crawlers line for the 90's.
Works great in Mattel's old molds
too, but only in the newer ovens. The old hotplates can get too hot for the new
goop.
Toymax goop came in many shapes,
sizes and types. The Metallic goop is great for bug's wings! The Glow goop is
one of my favorites, adding spookiness to any mold. Anyone get the Stretch goop
to work, without the creature falling apart at the slightest pull? I would have
liked to see that stuff work out. Seemed like a cool idea. Hopefully Flying Colors
will bring the Goop FX backing stores, in many colors, because the detail you
can get with those "pens" is incredible!
