Another type of Make and Play toy from Mattel. Make your own custom Hot Wheels cars. There was also another version of the injector, called Western World, which made figures, accessories, etc. from the wild west.

Here's the Hot Wheels injector, with the plastic "stadium" base.

The set comes with 6 mold sets (all 6 have a top and bottom), wheels, plastix, glue, clamps etc.

The special "plastix", that you put into the injector to make the cars with. Sold on cards in separate colors, multi-colored paks, and clear.

Here's the Plastix display tray & shipping box

You start by putting a couple plastix in the injector, and after it melts them, you inject them into a mold, (2 halves clamped together). When you open up the 2 halves, and cut off the excess, the car body looks like the above picture, which you can then take off the mold.

Here are all the parts, ready to put together.

The finished car, "Double Threat", complete with windshield.

You can also add stickers for the finishing touch.

The Customizing Pak contains additional wheels, stickers, etc., for making more cars.

The Indy Trail Plus Pak contains more molds, plastix, etc., for making a race car, and truck and trailer. Great add-on Pak.
