[12/14/03] Well Flying Colors has released another molding kit with oven. It's Sanrio's Hello Kitty. Nice set, with 5 molds and plenty of goop, and a new Hello Kitty oven. This kit also contains the first tubes of Flying Colors Goop FX. Go to the Flying Colors page to see pictures of the new kit. I updated the tips page also with this new info. [10/15/03] Glow goop is available once again! Fellow collector Nick Zervos spotted some at Target. There are 5 colors that I've seen so far. Check the Flying Colors page for pictures and more info. Also the new regular FC goop is at Target and at Amazon.com currently. I updated the goop colors list, and the tips page with this new info.

Collector Burt Buchanan stumbled upon a couple new mold packs and oven on-line. A company called Curiosity Kits has a versatile oven that can cook Creepies, clay, shrinky dinks, etc. I managed to get my hands on the 2 metal mold kits. One called Bake-A-Bug, and the other is Glitter Butterfly Maker. I made a special page for these Curiosity Kits here. Very nicely done kits, and the detail on the molds are excellent.

[9/22/03] The Thingmaker Collector Site is back on-line! Many of you have asked when I’m going to get it going again. Well, since there are new happenings in the world of Creepy Crawlers, I might as well help get the word out. The big news is there’s a company called Flying Colors Toys, Inc., a subsidiary of JAKKS Pacific, Inc., and they are now handling the Creepy Crawlers line. Apparently they acquired Toymax last October. The company has released a new version of the Creepy Crawlers oven, new formula of plastigoop, and some re-release mold packs. Also, they just released a new SpongeBob mold pack. I made a SpongeBob page here. The new SpongeBob molds are great. Nicely detailed, and they also put a few extra goodies on the molds, instead of just putting one thing on each mold. It’s great when they do that. What a good beginning! Plastigoop is still flowing strong into stores and on-line. I will be updating the pages that are out of date, especially the Tips pages, so you can find out where to get these new items.
